A Beautiful Outdoor Ceremony at the Hanover Marriott
some weddings just stick with you. Preeti is hands down one of my favorite couples of all time. From the moment I met her and Sagar, the chemistry was just there. We clicked instantly, and that connection made photographing their day feel effortless.
That relationship didn't end when the gallery was delivered because the trust we built led directly to me photographing her bridesmaid/friend Avani’s wedding at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown and her friend Aniket’s celebration at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. A huge number of my weddings every year come from past referrals like this. I believe that is a testament not only to the quality of the photos I take but to my approach. My goal is always to make sure my couples feel completely comfortable and taken care of. I want them to feel supported from our very first consultation all the way to years after they receive their photos.
As any wedding vendor will tell you, things rarely go exactly according to plan. Preeti and Sagar’s August wedding was originally supposed to be indoors. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances at the venue, everything had to be moved outside at the last minute. While that might sound stressful, in my opinion, it was the best thing that could have happened. I personally love outdoor ceremonies, and on this particular day, the weather was absolutely perfect.
The setup outdoors was stunning because the Mandap featured a full floral roof that did more than just look good. It acted as a giant soft box, which filtered the sunlight and created this beautiful, soft light on Preeti and Sagar during the ceremony. It was a photographer’s dream and made for some truly radiant images.
Preeti and Sagar, thank you for being amazing and for trusting me with your memories. It has been an honor to capture your day and to continue celebrating with your circle of friends.
Here are a few of my favorite moments from their day at the Hanover Marriott.
