A Radiant Indian Fusion Wedding at The Logan Philadelphia


One of the best parts of being a Philadelphia wedding photographer is discovering that your clients are actually your neighbors. When I first connected with Harini and Evan, we realized we were all living just a short walk from one another in Fishtown. Knowing we shared the same local spots and walked the same streets created an instant sense of familiarity. It made showing up on their wedding day feel less like a formal vendor obligation and more like celebrating with friends from the neighborhood.

Harini and Evan chose The Logan Philadelphia for their celebration, and it was the perfect setting for their Indian fusion wedding. The ceremony took place outdoors in the hotel’s courtyard right in the heart of the city. June can sometimes be tricky with midday sun, but on this day, the light was absolute magic. The sun was positioned perfectly to create a dreamy, soft backlight on the Mandap. Instead of battling harsh shadows or squinting eyes, we had this beautiful, glowing light that wrapped around Harini and Evan as they exchanged vows. It gave the entire ceremony an ethereal quality that you can't manufacture.

This wedding was a beautiful blend of cultures, styles, and emotions. From the vibrant colors of the traditional Indian attire to the modern, chic backdrop of The Logan, every detail represented Harini and Evan perfectly. It was a joy to document not just the big moments, but the quiet ones too, like the laughter during portraits, the energy of the Baraat, and the genuine happiness of their families coming together.
