A Joyful Indian Fusion Wedding at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay
Brittanie and Abhishek didn't just plan a wedding day. They planned an entire experience. Their celebration at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay was a marathon of joy that spanned several days and brought two families together in the most energetic way possible. It was incredible to witness how they dedicated time to honor every part of their heritage without rushing a single moment.
The festivities kicked off with a vibrant Sangeet on the first night, which set the tone for the weekend. The energy only ramped up from there. The second day was packed with emotion, starting with a lively Haldi ceremony in the morning, followed by their Western wedding and reception later that evening. Just when you thought the party might be winding down, the third day brought a completely new wave of excitement with a traditional Indian wedding and a second reception to close out the weekend.
One of the reasons I loved working at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay is the endless variety of backdrops. The property sits right on the water, which means we had beautiful waterfront views that were perfect for photos at any time of day. Whether we were capturing the bright colors of the Haldi against the greenery or stealing a quiet moment by the river during sunset, the venue provided the perfect scenic escape for every chapter of their celebration.
Brittanie and Abhishek, thank you for inviting me to document this incredible marathon of love. It was a privilege to be part of your story.
Here are a few of my favorite moments from their multi-day fusion celebration in Maryland.
