A Luxurious Celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia

There is a fresh energy that comes with photographing a space that has been reimagined, and Isa and Daniel’s wedding was the perfect opportunity to experience it. This celebration marked the very first wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center since their major ballroom renovation. The updates have opened up the room beautifully, increasing the capacity and creating an even more inviting atmosphere for grand celebrations. It was exciting to see how the new layout allowed for a seamless flow during the reception, giving everyone plenty of room to dance and celebrate.

When it came time for portraits, we made a game-time decision that ended up being one of the best choices of the day. The original plan was to head down to the street level for photos in Rittenhouse Square. However, given the incredible setting we were already in, we decided to skip the travel time and head up to Sky High instead. Located on the 60th floor of the hotel, this space offers what are easily the best views in the entire city.

Opting for the 60th floor was a dream for photography. The floor to ceiling windows flood the space with beautiful natural light, which made capturing Isa and Daniel’s portraits feel effortless. We didn't have to worry about the harsh midday sun or finding shade because the light up there is soft and flattering. Plus, having the Philadelphia skyline sprawling out behind them provided a dramatic and modern backdrop that you just can't get from the ground level.

The rest of the day was filled with just as much beauty and joy. From the emotional moments during the ceremony to the packed dance floor in the newly renovated ballroom, every part of the day felt intentional and full of love. Isa and Daniel were an absolute pleasure to work with, and their trust in my suggestions allowed us to create some truly memorable images.

Thank you, Isa and Daniel, for letting me capture this milestone for you. It was an honor to document the first of many beautiful events in this stunning new space. Here are a few of my favorite moments from their day at the Four Seasons.
